Course Description
AI for Citizens is the first module in the AI for Georgia Professionals Certificate Program and is based on curriculum developed by Intel. This self-paced course introduces foundational concepts in artificial intelligence, helping participants build essential AI literacy and understand how AI technologies are used in everyday life, work, and communities.
Through guided learning, participants will explore core AI concepts, address common misconceptions, and consider ethical and societal implications of AI. This module establishes the knowledge base needed for more advanced, applied learning in later certificate modules.

AI Awareness
Build foundational awareness of artificial intelligence, including key concepts, common misconceptions, and examples of AI applications in real-world contexts.AI Appreciation
Explore major domains of AI use and examine ethical, social, and practical considerations associated with AI technologies. Participants will begin identifying how AI may influence their professional and community environments.AI Adaptation
Review current developments in artificial intelligence and learn strategies for continued learning and responsible engagement as AI technologies evolve.Asynchronous online course with a rolling start date. This module must be completed before advancing to subsequent components of the certificate program.
